Synthetic OS

What is Synthetic OS?

InnovaBlack® Synthetic OS is the operating system behind every synthetic agent. It provides the agent's intelligence, the rules it can't override, its memory of each customer, the monitoring that flags when something looks off, the kill switch a person controls, and the ability to self-repair. Agentic OS runs your systems; Synthetic OS directs your agents.

Why does an agent need its own operating system?

A language model on its own can talk and reason. It doesn't know who your customer is, what it promised them last week, which hours are off-limits, or when to hand a case to a person. It also won't notice on its own that something is broken. All of that has to be built around the model, and it's what separates an agent that shines in a demo from one that shows up to work every day inside a real company.

Synthetic OS is that build, done once and done right, for every synthetic agent we run.

What are its parts?

  • Intelligence. The model that understands and writes (our agents are built on Claude), plus the playbook for its role: what it does, how it sounds and which tools it can use.
  • Rules. What the agent can't override: contact hours, off-limits topics, offers it can't make, when it must escalate. Rules live in the system and are enforced before the agent acts. They don't depend on the agent "remembering" them.
  • Memory. What it knows about each customer and every past conversation, so it never asks twice or contradicts itself. Memory belongs to your account and nobody else's.
  • Monitoring. Continuously checks that the agent is alive and responding on the real channel, and flags when its behavior drifts from normal.
  • Kill switch. An authorized person can stop it at any time from the Agentic Office, or take over a conversation and hand it back.
  • Self-repair. When something fails, the system tries to recover on its own. If it can't, it escalates to the engineering team and, if needed, to whoever owns your account. A downed agent never goes silent without anyone knowing.

How does an agent work on Synthetic OS?

A message comes in on the channel your customers already use. Synthetic OS identifies the person and loads their history and the rules for the role. The agent decides what to do and, if it needs data or an action in your systems, requests it through Agentic OS. Before it replies, the rules check that the response is allowed. Everything goes into the log. If the case calls for human judgment, the agent escalates with full context, so the person doesn't start from scratch.

The agent is always upfront about what it is. If someone asks whether they're talking to a human, it says it's an AI agent, and there's always a person available.

Why does it matter that someone runs it?

Because an agent isn't a project you ship and forget. Models change, your systems change, channels change, and any of those changes can quietly break something. InnovaBlack runs Synthetic OS: keeping it current, watching every agent and fixing what breaks. Your team directs the agents; we keep the system that makes them trustworthy running.

What kinds of agents run on Synthetic OS?

Synthetic agents for sales, customer support, collections and executive support, among others. At financial institutions they handle origination, collections and customer service under the rules of a supervised entity (see InnovaBlack Fintech); in other industries, sales and support. Available roles are listed at sinteticos.ai.

How do I know what each agent did?

The log. Every message, every system lookup, every action and every human intervention is recorded the moment it happens, not stitched together in a report afterward. From the Agentic Office your team can replay a full conversation, see which rules fired and who stepped in. That's what lets you answer a complaint, review a mistake and improve the agent with evidence instead of gut feel.

Short answers

Which AI model does Synthetic OS use?

Our agents are built on Anthropic's Claude. Synthetic OS is the layer that wraps the model in the rules, memory, monitoring and kill switch a real operation needs.

Does the agent learn from my customers to serve other companies?

No. Customer data belongs to the customer: it doesn't train models and never mixes with other companies' data. Each agent's memory belongs to its own account.

Who can stop an agent?

Whoever your company authorizes, from the Agentic Office, at any time, without asking the vendor for permission.
