Outcomes

  • −80%

monthly hours of the legal and compliance team

  • −65%

    response time to internal queries

  • 3

regulated vehicles consolidated into one assistant

  • 100%

queries with a verifiable citation to the original source

The context

The group operated with a legal and compliance team shared across the three vehicles. Every internal query — from sales, operations, risk — escalated to the associated law firm or the managing partner. Junior turnover produced systematic loss of accumulated criteria: every team change meant re-explaining theses, master contracts and institutional criteria.

The trigger was an internal audit that revealed inconsistencies in responses to equivalent queries across vehicles. Management decided to index the firm’s doctrinal knowledge so any team member could respond with the same criteria before escalating.

How we approached the problem

DTX Intelligence™ with an indexed institutional knowledge base: NOMs, CNBV circulars, Supreme Court (SCJN) theses, the managing partner’s internal criteria, master contracts, operating manuals. Assistant with orchestration of Claude Opus 4.7 + GPT-4 + Gemini 2.0 with contextual retrieval and mandatory citation to the original source.

PHASE 01 · Month 1

Capture and curation of institutional knowledge

Structured sessions with partners and compliance officers. Indexing of regulatory sources: CNBV, UIF, Banxico, SAT. Cataloging of internal criteria by vehicle and subject.

PHASE 02 · Month 2

Assistant with mandatory citation

RAG architecture with Claude Opus 4.7 and cross-validation by GPT-4 + Gemini for critical queries. Every answer carries a verifiable citation to the original source — no hallucinations.

PHASE 03 · Month 3

Per-vehicle deployment and permissions

Assistant with segmentation by vehicle and role. Controlled cross-vehicle queries. Usage log for continuous improvement and auditability.

PHASE 04 · Month 4

Training, governance and handover to DTX Retainer™

Training for the teams of the three vehicles. Model governance: criteria updates, periodic validation, escalation policy to the managing partner. Start of continuous DTX Retainer™.

Measurable results

  • Legal and compliance team recovers ~80% of monthly hours previously spent answering repeated queries.
  • Response time to internal queries −65%; juniors answer with the managing partner’s criteria before escalating.
  • Zero inconsistencies in responses to equivalent queries across the three vehicles.
  • Complete traceability of which criterion applied to each query and why — available for external audit.
  • Onboarding of junior staff reduced by weeks: institutional knowledge is already indexed.

“The junior team now answers with the criteria only the partners used to have. Queries still escalate when they should — but no longer everything escalates.”
